STEP II:  GENERATE DAILY ROUTES

·         Generate recurring service orders like filter changes.

STEP III:  PRINT OR LOAD TO PDA

·         Print service orders.

·         Prepare the data for loading to the PDA.

 

STEP IV:  COMPLETE/UPLOAD FROM PDA

·         Complete service orders to generate invoices.

·         Generate the invoices from the PDA data.

STEP I:  START OF DAY FOR TECHNICIAN

·         Load all of the driver’s customers.

·         Load truck or you may skip this step:

o  Load all items.

o  Load from par values for truck or customer

o  Bar code loading.

o  Load on the desktop and transfer to PDA

 

STEP II:  SERVICE WORK ROUTE

·         Service orders loaded to technician’s PDA.

·         Service can be indicated as “stop service”.

·         Technician may change stop sequence order.

·         Equipment at the site loaded.

·         Service history of equipment.

·         Problem and resolution recorded.

·         Service off-route customers.

·         Sell off-route products (salt, water, etc.).

·         Calculate taxes including exceptions.

·         Record notes of stop to management.

·         Accept returns for restock or waste.

·         Bar code scanning for selling.

·        Change prices with password.

·         View history of last four services.

·         View loaners and carton count.

·         View previous balance and aging.

·         View instructions and directions.

·         View one-time note for a stop.

STEP II:  PAYMENT AND FINALIZE SALE

·         Collect money via cash, credit card, or check.

·         Capture signature for proof of delivery.

STEP IV:  END OF DAY PROCEDURES

·         Reconcile sales and cash.

·         Reconcile truck inventory.

·         Collect technician’s start and stop time.

·         Transfer inventory.

·         Count physical inventory.
