Prism Visual Software Wins 2004 Planet PDA Product of the Year Award For MiniSurvey

Port Washington, NY -- May 31, 2005 -- Prism Visual Software, Inc., is a winner of this year’s 2004 Planet PDA Product of the Year Award. Each year Planet PDA online magazine bestows its Product of the Year awards on companies that have demonstrated excellence in technological advancement and application refinements. Among the 2004 award recipients are major industry players such as Adesso Systems, Best Software, JP Mobile, Inc., Sybase, and Toshiba America Information Systems. The editors of Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Planet PDA online magazine announced the winners earlier this month. “These companies have demonstrated to the editors of Planet PDA that its products or services have gone the extra mile to create a truly innovative handheld computing product,” said Rich Tehrani, President and Group Publisher of Planet PDA.

A designer of mobile routing software, Prism Visual Software received the award for its PDA application MiniSurvey. Lorraine Keating, president of the company, said: “MiniSurvey incorporates the ability to collect additional onsite information related to inspections, testing, or sales. I am pleased that PDA Planet magazine recognizes the value that this module has for PDA users with a field force.” Prism won a 2002 Planet PDA Product of the Year Award for its mobile routing solution, MiniMate.

MiniSurvey gives users the ability to design and launch service specific or industry-specific surveys to the PDAs. Users creatively develop and amend surveys, checklists, inspection or testing questionnaires, merchandizing surveys for sales and service technicians. The data collected from the field survey is routed selectively to sales managers or service managers appropriately where it can be analyzed and used to improve prices, products, deliveries, and services. MiniSurvey helps service and sales management control business processes more efficiently and improve quality control and customer satisfaction.
