Prism Visual Software is on the roll

founder Lorraine Keating.
"Our handheld solution for the
field force automation industry is
solid. Prism has developed mature
products. Planet PDA magazine's award
recognizes the many outstanding features
of our PDA handheld solution. We are
very pleased."
TMC President and Group Editor-in-Chief
Rich Tehrani says: "MiniMate
of Prism Visual Software has played
an important role in the handheld
computing market. We're proud to recognize
their hard work and innovation with
a Product of the Year Award for 2002."
MiniMate is Prism Visual Software's
handheld solution for field force
automation industries, running under
the Palm-OS operating system and integrating
with an SQL-server backend. The software
eliminates paper-based systems, manages
routes more efficiently, digitally
connects the warehousing process with
the loading and returning of trucks,
delivers products more quickly, allows
for access to customer information
on the road, and prints signature-captured
invoices at customer locations. By
using MiniMate, the field force takes
care of the physical count of inventory
and inventory transfer with ease and
speed. Field personnel take orders
at job sites, route sales invoices,
and arrange product delivery for pre-orders.
MiniMate's additional features include
setting up service work orders for
equipment repair and meter reading
functionality for utilities.
Keating summarizes MiniMate's functionality
with these words: "Our award-winning
field force automation technology
connects 'on the road' personnel with
their 'in the office' desktop." Prism's
MiniMate solution is designed to function
in a variety of vertical market niches,
including:
* Food and beverage distribution
* Bottled water delivery/pickup service
* Service and repair of equipment
* Air and water treatment
* Construction/contractors/subcontractors
* HVAC
* JobCosting
* Retail operations
* Utility billing
The success of MiniMate is well deserved,
and proves how much a well-run software
company can accomplish. Attracting
a customer clientele of the midsize
market, Prism Visual Software offers
excellent products and outstanding
services to an industry that is meant
for the wireless and web-based environment.
Says Keating: "We work hard to ensure
that the software solutions we develop
meet our customer's real needs. At
the same time our development team
does not stand still. We are in the
process of developing our products
on the Microsoft .NET platform."
