Sales Development Representative

Job Description

Prism Virtual Software is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its growing Sales Team. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative, and growing company with a supportive team atmosphere.

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support Prism’s Account Executives. The SDR will work to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. The SDR will also assist the sales team advance the leads to the late sales stages.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated, a self-starter, proactive about learning, and, additionally, is open to feedback, seeks responsibility, works well both independently and within a team, and pursues personal and professional growth. A dynamic personality with an interest in sales and technology and a drive to reach decision-makers is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the PRISM VIRTUAL SOFTWARE solution and identify appropriate buyers within the target market. 
  • Follow up on marketing qualified leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects. 
  • Ability to conduct a high-level needs analysis and determine prospect’s pain points to determine if the prospect is a potential opportunity. 
  • Understand and become an expert in PRISM VIRTUAL SOFTWARE application and modules. 
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications. 
  • Work with Sales Management and Marketing teams to develop and increase the total number of opportunities in the overall pipeline. 
  • Manage and update data for prospective clients within CRM, ensuring all communications and information are being logged accurately. 
  • Consistently achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • 1-3 years of telemarketing, sales development, and/or inside sales experience. 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • Experience using CRM (Hubspot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce.com).
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft 365 preferred.
