Prism Visual Software, a leading software designer of handheld and webbased route accounting software, announced today that the company won an award from Ingram Micro/Motorola Corporation during Ingram Micro’s DCPOS “4th Annual Partner Invitational 2008” meeting in Austin, Texas. Andrew Kuneth, VP of Sales accepted the award for “Top Growth Customer—Prism Visual Software—Q4 2007.”
The award honors Prism’s sales of Motorola’s handheld devices, including the MC70 and MC9000 series, to current and new customers. Prism’s successful and fully integrated truck routing software solution is leading the push for more and more mobile devices in route sales and field service industries.

Prism’s handheld software, MiniMate, is built on VB.net and Sybase iAnywhere platform and is implemented in pre-order delivery, route sales, and equipment service operations. Users take DSD orders in convenience store, sync wirelessly, and then deliver products to the store all with MiniMate preorder/delivery functionality. Users in the Office Coffee Services industry perform route sales and equipment service with MiniMate route sales/equipment service functionality. Perishable food companies receive accurate shelf storage advice from MiniMate for a reduction in stale product buybacks.
